Other gatherers who have better specs and use journals will be more effective then you. What are your own coals? Want to get max crafting? Want to get premium? Want to just get some extra silver for equipment?. I would recommend refining and crafting in the long run, its can be exhausting at first to your silver.
You can make some nice silver after you have leveled up those crafting items and use crafting food. Crating at low levels is more of an silver sink. Also when you cant find nice stations with 10-15% tax just stack resources at storage and refine when prices are low.ģ. Refine only at city's that have bonus for return rate. "investing into your own character" is what I would call it. Would only recommend this when you gather T2 and T3 fibers also yourself. At first you will lose some silver compared to selling raw materials but it can pay off when you focus refine. Refine is profitable at higher levels and with focus.
